About Meaco Measurement and Control
Meaco developed the first wireless environmental monitoring in conjunction with the Victoria and Albert museum back in 1991.Since then the company has developed its range of environmental monitoring and control equipment to include data loggers, handheld devices, humidifiers, de-humidifiers and controllers. In Sept 2005 the company split into two with Meaco (UK) Ltd continuing as an on-line retailer to the general public with the preventative conservation side of the business transferring to Meaco Measurement and Control who specialise in environmental monitoring and control for museums, archives and galleries.
We are now based in Newcastle-under-Lyme in Staffordshire which provides us with the benefits of such a central location and makes it easier for us to provide an excellent level of service to all our customers – from the Isle of Wight to the Isle of Orkney.
We pride ourselves in a flexible approach and a high level of customer service. We have a loyal customer base with whom we enjoy excellent working partnerships. We welcome feedback and work hard to make sure that the products and services that Meaco supply meet the needs of our customers.
To this ends we have our own on line shop where smaller items can be purchased without the need to raise a purchase order and can be paid for securely through the SagePay portal.
We also are now sending out newsletters to those who are interested in knowing what is going on in the world of meaco so please sign up below.
If you have any questions or comments on either this web site or on any aspect of environmental monitoring and control please feel free to contact us.

Hi – I sit very much behind the scenes for most of the time – but still manage to hear all and see all ! My main focus is making sure that Meaco meets the needs and wants of the heritage sector in product range, price and possibly most importantly service. My latest project is developing this web site so that its quicker and easier to get the information you need and buy the products you want whilst still maintaining the friendly, knowledgeable and professional team here in the office. We are always happy to offer advice on any aspect of environmental monitoring and control and genuinely do enjoy working with museums across the spectrum.
At home I have a cat – Dexter – who loves to play fetch and attack my ankles from behind doors. I am also a massive Walking Dead and Game of Thrones geek!
