Brune B260 Evaporative Humidifier

The Brune B260 Evaporative Humidifier updates the B250, which has served as an essential workhorse for many museums over the years. It features a modern new exterior design while maintaining the same reliable internal components.

Suitable for areas up to 500 cubic meters, the B260 uses the evaporative method of humidification, preventing water droplets from creating precipitation residue. This means no water droplets on museum collections and wooden flooring etc. The unit draws ambient air from the room through a special air filter for pre-cleaning. A rotating, moist evaporative filter disc processes this air, with its special design creating a particularly large evaporation surface (3 m²). This design ensures high efficiency in both evaporation rate and energy use. The air releases moisture in gaseous form into the room while the unit retains substances like limescale or dirt.

The control panel displays clear information about current room humidity, fan speed settings, and water tank levels. When the tank empties, the unit automatically shuts off and alerts users with a flashing LED.

The Brune B260 Evaporative Humidifier includes an internal humidistat, which you can upgrade to a wireless version if needed. Additional options include mains fill and LAN/WiFi control.

On-site staff can easily set up and maintain the unit, though Meaco offers an annual service option. You should replace the air and evaporation disc at least once yearly (more frequently in hard water areas). The use of the Waterfresh additive can also help reduce limescale build up and so extend the life of your humidifier.
