The Meaco Cloud Receiver has been designed to collect, process, and transfer data in real time from transmitters and repeaters as part of the Meaco Telemetry System up to our Meaco cloud platform.
When connected to the internet the data is sent straight to the Meaco cloud platform where users can view the data. Its flexible connectivity options allow it to be connected via ethernet or Wi-fi as standard. If the connection is interupted for whatever reason the receivers large memory will store the data safely until connectivity returns when the data be uploaded ensuring unbroken data collection. The receiver is capable of storing tens of millions of datapoints indefinately.
The ‘receive’ module is on the end of a two metre lead to allow it to be placed in the best position away from ‘noise and interference’ for receiving data and when the custom 3dB gain aerial is attached you get best reception possible. This has given the Meaco Cloud Receiver a reception range of over 12 miles line of site in testing. Having good reception means less need for the use of repeaters helping you to reduce costs.
The Meaco Cloud Receiver also has an onboard battery back up that will last approximately four hours in the event of a power cut so it will continue to collect and store data.
